Well here goes!

Welcome to my first adventure in blogging! My hope is that everyone who reads my posts will learn something new about books for children and young adults, since that is the blog's purpose.

As a new school librarian (today was my third day!), I am really excited about children's literature. New books have been coming in to the library the past few days (ordered by the previous librarian), and I want to sit down and read every one of them! And now, because of a class I'm taking at Texas Woman's University, I have an actual reason to do that!

Through this blog, I hope you get some new knowledge and inspiration, since I'm guessing if you're reading this, you love children's and young adults' literature too!
